Backup - Up Squad

Normally, after undergoing the talent identification, selection trials, centralised training and international exposure phases of the high performance infrastructure, those players of under eighteen years of age that managed to obtain an ITF ranking of 150 and below shall be called to be part of of the national back-up squad, provided always they continuously maintain their ITF ranking of 150 and below.  Being a member of the national back-up squad, they shall undergo a much more focused centralised training and exposure events, normally on a fast track basis, with a view to reduced their ITF rankings to a level that they are in a position to participate in an ITF Grade 1 event such that by the time they reach eighteen years of age they will be eligible to represent malaysia in any ATP or WTA event. The so-called centralised training and exposure events shall also include attending reputable and proven tennis academies abroad where all expenses will be borned by LTAM , of course, with the support of MSN including, the payment of monthly subsistence allowances and a share of a substantial portion of the prize monies won, if any, in all competitions. Advertisement endorsements and private sponsorships shall accrue fully to the players and LTAM will not have any share in them.
