The revamped CIRCUIT will serve as a platform or basis to achieve the following objectives:
1. To identify junior players of the various Age Groups to attend LTAM Selection Trials and centralized training sessions to be selected for an exposure event e.g. international tournament or academy. It will be based on ranking points and top ranked players and special exempt players will be invited to further hone their skills through a proven high performance training program. There will be an in-house competitions to shortlist the players as required by for each international exposure event.
2. These selected junior players will represent Malaysia in local, regional and international tournaments and/or to be sent to training academies abroad fully sponsored by LTAM subject to availability of funds and sponsorships.
3. To enable LTAM to have access to a larger pool of junior players since the structure and format of the tournament are more decentralized and held on weekends only in the 5 Zones throughout Malaysia.
4. To make it more affordable for the junior players do not have to miss schools a lot, parents do not have to take leave to accompany their children and availability of larger pool of part-time officials and coaches because they don’t have to take leave also.
