Uzbekistan holds Level 2 Coaches Course
The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan in association with Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan (UTF) organised a 12-day ITF Advanced Coaches Course (formerly called Level 2) for coaches working with advanced players. The much awaited course was held in the beautiful city of Tashkent, which hosted the last Advanced Coaches Course in 2004.
The course tutors, Suresh Menon, ITF Development Officer for Asia along with Kawaljeet Singh from India, shared the latest information on teaching tournament and advanced players. Global Coaches House- London
The International Council for Coach Education and Global Coaches House will meet at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, London 2012. Alongside its open access programme, Global Coaches House will run a programme for performance coaches from all over the world who are preparing for a future Olympic or major event coaching role.
The programme will aim to prepare those coaches who are next in line to play a part in the coaching of Olympic athletes for the demands and special requirements of coaching for and at the Games or any other high profile event. National/International Federations and National Olympic Committees can identify coaches or groups of coaches who would benefit from the programme. Individual coaches can also apply. Looking for: A high level 1) Director of Tennis and 2) Head Coach with experience in running successful leagues, clinics, camps, lessons and all other programs that make a club stand out above the crowd. Both hires will need:
