The curtain will fall tomorrow for this successful leg 3 of the LTAM Sportexcel 14 U played at the KTTR, Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur. With favourable weather, the tournament was played on schedule. Four finals were played today, namely, the Boys Doubles Tier 1 and 2 and the Girls Doubles, Tier 1 and 2.

Mohd Khairil Anas who lost to arch rival, Talhah Rahizam in the Singles Semi Finals partnered Ranveer Singh, the number 2 seed made amend by  upsetting the number 1 seed, Sheikh Ameer Sheikh Ahmad and Talhah Rahizam, 63, 64 to claim the Boys Doubles title. For Tier 2, the Pulau Pinang pair of Lee Huang Yi and Brian Lee defeated Shanker Ganesan and Chan Kai Lun, 60, 61.

In the Girls Doubles Finals, Tier 1, the Perlis and Negeri Sembilan combination of Aida Hareena and Nur Hazira Hamidon emerged Champion when they trounced the Selangor pair of Samantha Jane and Tara Afzalirad in a gruelling 3 set, 64, 46, (10-7). In the Girls Doubles, Tier 2, Sofea Maisara and Nabilah Mohd Sahi defeated Amisha Fadzli and Farah Farid, 60, 63.

In the Boys Singles, Tier 1 Finals to be played tomorrow, Talhah Rahizam will face Sheik Ameer who upset, the second singles, Mohd Khairil Anas. In the Boys Singles Tier 2 Finals, Adam Syafiq, from Perlis will square off with Muhd Shamil Mazlan of Kedah.

All Finals begin at 0900Hrs at the Jalan Duta Courts, Kuala Lumpur.

Leg 4 of the LTAM Sportexcel 14U 2012 will be held on 6 to 10 July 2012 at the same venue.
