Each year SportExcel provides the elite performer or potential high performance athlete with financial assistance to defray costs associated with their training and competition programs. The grant components are :

(a)      accommodation costs during training and competition at home and abroad.

(b)      transport and travel for training and competition at home and abroad.

(c)      access to sports science and sports medical services.

(d)      equipment essential in competitions.

(e)      coaching fees.

Applicants are to submit their applications to Lawn Tennis Association of Malaysia for verification and recommendation to SPORTEXCEL not later than Monday, 18 June 2012.

THE COSTS (a) TO (e) WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED IF THE CLAIMS HAVE BEEN BORNE BY ANOTHER SOURCE

Note          :        Please  make  known  to  your  recipients  that in order to make   a  claim,  receipts  and  essential  documents (such as Achievements for the Year the Grant was given) must be furnished. The Grant should not be treated as ‘pocket–money’ as the above conditions clearly defined the scope of our commitment. Travelling (local or international) as an essential member of a team does not qualify for reimbursement from the grant, especially so when all the expenses have been borne by another source.
